Court of Justice of the European Union PRESS RELEASE No 106/12 Luxembourg, 30 August 2012 Press and Information Official visit of a delegation of the Court of Justice of the European Union to Cyprus As part of the constant relations which the Court of Justice of the European Union maintains with the highest courts of the Member States and on the occasion of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the second semester of 2012, a delegation of the Court of Justice will make an official visit to Cyprus, at the invitation of the Supreme Court of that Member State, from Saturday, 1 September to Tuesday, 4 September 2012. The delegation will be composed of Mr V. Skouris, President of the Court of Justice, Mr K. Lenaerts, President of the Third Chamber, Ms J. Kokott, Advocate General, Messrs G. Arestis, M. Ilei,. E. Levits, A. O' Caoimh and A. Arabadjiev, Ms C. Toader and Mr J.-J. Kasel, Judges, and Mr P. Cruz Villaln, Advocate General. On Monday, 3 September, the delegation of the Court will meet the President, Mr P. Artemis, and members of the Supreme Court of Cyprus. The delegation will hold two working sessions with the Supreme Court, the first on the topic of references for a preliminary ruling and the second on the topic of the most important recent judgments of the two Courts.
