Summary Each year OLAF issues an annual report addressed to media and shared with the European Parliament where the main achievements and activities are summed up. The document is part of OLAF’s external communication effort, explaining its unique and vital role in helping to keep Europe safe, healthy and fit for the future. OLAF also stresses its work to defend the money of European taxpayers from fraud and to make sure that EU funding reaches the people and projects for whom it was intended. OLAF Annual Report is presented usually together with the OLAF Supervisory Committee Annual Report, whose observations and remarks have also been taken into consideration in the present working document. For the sake of drafting the present working document, the information offered by the two Reports above is enriched, where possible and appropriate, by the outcome of the exchanges of view that are held at the CONT Committee with OLAF Director-General and other relevant OLAF managers on specific cases and matters of interest, complemented where appropriate with written questionnaires and follow up.
