In the current geopolitical context the visit was very timely, as both countries were becoming more and more active diplomatically in the region and beyond. Summary account of meetings In Saudi Arabia, Members held meetings with HE Dr Hanan Al-Ahmadi, Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council, as well as the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi. They also met with HE Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers and Envoy for Climate.
