Of these, 31,229 (37.1%) were propaganda offences (2023: 19,905, or 33.2%). Another 4,107 (4.9%) were categorised as politically motivated violent crime (2023: 3,561, 5.9%). A total of 57,701 crimes (68.6%) were found to have an extremist background (2023: 39,433, or 65.7%). This included 2,976 violent crimes with an extremist background (2023: 2,761). In the category of politically motivated crime – other, 7,781 (2023: 5,183) crimes with an extremist background were recorded.
