Torrential rainfall, strong winds and subsequent flooding affected the production of arable crops and the fruit and vegetable sector. (2) During the second half of April 2024, Slovenia was affected by adverse weather events of unprecedent magnitude. Unusually high temperatures in the first half of April were followed by a cold spell in the second half of the month which affected the production of certain fruits and vegetables and the wine sector.
