RIGHT SPACESExternal event FRA will speak at a webinar on 6 June on ‘Governance and Participation – Policies That Make a Difference’. The webinar is part of the EU-funded project, B. RIGHT SPACES – Better Rights in Better Civic Spaces. This project aims to build capacities of local authorities and civil society organisations to support, develop, protect civic spaces and to strengthen public engagement. The project will deliver several outputs such as guidelines and a manifesto for the Protection and Promotion of Civic Spaces and policy recommendations for local authorities to protect and enhance civic space. The webinar is part of a series of webinars that aims to share lessons learned and promising practices across the EU on local initiatives to fight discrimination and promote equality through meaningful participation. The European Network of Cities and Regions for the Social Economy (REVES) coordinates the project.
