EFSA has recently adopted 5 opinions on this topic. A.02 Presentation of the EFSA “WaterManage4You” app, as follow-up of the scientific opinions under the previous point. EFSA has developed a app/tool to monitor the safety of water used in the post-harvest handling and processing operations of fresh and frozen fruits, vegetables and herbs. A.03 Presentation by EFSA of the outcomes of the rapid outbreak assessment (ROA) on a prolonged cross-border multi-serovar Salmonella outbreak linked to consumption of sprouted seeds followed by further discussion on the implementation of relevant hygiene requirements (SANTE F1 & SANTE G5).
