EYE2025 (European Youth Event): programme and media registration

EYE2025 will gather young citizens from 153 countries to engage in discussions with MEPs, Commissioners and other EU decision-makers, as well as with experts, activists, and content creators. Roberta Metsola, the European Parliament’s President, will take part in a question and answer session in the hemicycle about the future of Europe and how Parliament is working to shape it. Parliament Vice-President Sabine Verheyen will participate in the opening ceremony in the EYE Village, and Vice-President Pina Picierno will speak at the closing event. MEPs will also join various panels, sharing with young people what they do and sharing insights into Parliament’s legislative work in areas such as climate justice, freedom of speech and media, and the EU’s long-term budget. Glenn Micallef, Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, will lead a Youth Policy Dialogue in the morning of 13 June and will participate in a panel discussion that afternoon. These are just some of the 400 activities lined up, ranging from interactive workshops and debates to artistic performances, concerts and DJ sets. Find the full programme here.
