On 12 February 2025, the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1). This notification concerns the following undertakings: — Mr Patrick James (United States), who controls First Brands Group LLC (‘FBG’, United States) and Global Technologies SARL (‘Global Technologies’, Luxembourg) — Novares Group SAS (‘Novares’, France) Mr Patrick James, through Global Technologies, will acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation sole control of the whole of Novares. The concentration is accomplished by way of purchase of shares. 2. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are the following: — Mr Patrick James controls FBG, which is involved in the development, marketing and sale of solutions in the automotive sector, including braking systems, filtration products, wiper blades, water and fuel pumps, and spark plugs. — Novares is a global supplier of plastics solutions that designs and manufactures parts and systems for the automotive industry. 3.
