FRA supports standards and indicators for receiving asylum applicants

News Item 13 June 2025 FRA supports standards and indicators for receiving asylum applicants Asylum, migration and borders Access to asylum FRA participated at a meeting of the European Union’s Asylum Agency’s working group drafting standards and indicators on reception conditions. The drafting group is formed by representatives from the European Commission, representatives from Member States, the UN Refugee Agency and FRA. The group is developing standards and indicators to support Member States in assessing and improving the reception conditions of asylum applicants, also taking into account the Reception Conditions Directive adopted in 2024 as part of the EU’s Pact on Migration and Asylum. The meeting took place in Malta from 10 to 12 June.
