EUAA workshop on the European Migration and Asylum Pact

News Item 20 June 2025 EUAA workshop on the European Migration and Asylum Pact Asylum, migration and borders Access to asylum On 12 June, FRA attended a workshop organised by the European Union Asylum Agency (EUAA) in cooperation with the Austrian Supreme Administrative Court and the Austrian Federal Administrative Court at the Supreme Administrative Court in Vienna. The workshop took stock of the implementation and current challenges of the European Pact on Migration and Asylum in Austria and Germany. It was a good opportunity for FRA to inform participants about FRA activities in relation to the pact’s implementation, such as its guidance on independent border monitoring mechanisms and its input to the European Annual Asylum and Migration Report. Members of courts and tribunals, representatives of the German and Austrian Ministries of the Interior, the EUAA and FRA attended the workshop.
