Fundamental Rights, AI and EU law roundtable discussions

News Item 27 June 2025 Fundamental Rights, AI and EU law roundtable discussions Data protection, privacy and new technologies Artificial intelligence and big data FRA gave an online presentation to a Center for the Study of Democracy roundtable on ‘Fundamental Rights, Artificial Intelligence and EU Law: Safeguards and Challenges’. The event was organised in the framework of the FAIR project, which aims to raise awareness about the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. Visit project site FRA presented its work on AI, notably its reports on Artificial intelligence and fundamental rights and Bias in algorithms. It also briefly reflected on the EU AI Act and FRA’s ongoing work in the field, which aims at supporting the Act’s implementation. The event took place in Sofia on 26 June.
