Summary of petition The petitioner complains about the policy introduced by the e-commerce platform for sellers, called DD+7, according to which the platform holds sellers’ money in reserve for a longer period than before (often for more than 30 days), in order to cover possible claims by customers. At the same time, the platform immediately charges sellers various types of fees. According to the petitioner, the combination of these two practices creates significant cash flow problems for businesses, which could ultimately lead to bankruptcy. The petitioner therefore asks for the situation to be addressed through legislation, in the sense that ecommerce platforms should not be allowed to hold sellers' money in reserve for a longer period of time than that foreseen for collecting fees. 2.
