While EU passenger rights legislation provides robust protections in principle, its enforcement often varies significantly between Member States, leaving passengers vulnerable to inconsistent treatment and limited recourse during disruptions. This proposal seeks to harmonise the role of National Enforcement Bodies (NEBs), empower them to act effectively, and strengthen mechanisms to address cross-border complaints.
