“Avenues of EU-China Engagement: Cultural Dialogues” Music event on the 50th anniversary of EU-China relations

On 9 May, the Delegation of the European Union to China presented “Avenues of EU-China Engagement: Cultural Dialogues”, a captivating stage performance marking 50 years of EU-China relations. The event attracted over 500 attendees, showcasing a fusion of European and Chinese artistic expressions that emphasized the importance of cultural and people-to-people exchanges. The 150-minute performance featured a diverse lineup of artists from Austria, China, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, and Romania, offering a rich blend of classic and contemporary stage art forms. From traditional Chinese opera to modern European dance and musical performances, the event illustrated how cultural collaboration can bridge differences and deepen connections.
