Joint meeting Employment and Social Affairs and Culture and Education Committees

Monday 5 May, 19.00 - 20.30 Strasbourg, European Parliament, Churchill Building, Room 200 Exchange of views with Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness MEPs from the Committees on Employment and Social Affairs and on Culture and Education will hold a joint discussion with Executive Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu on the Union of Skills. The Union of Skills, presented on 5 March, is the Commission’s strategy to tackle the labour shortages and increase the EU’s competitiveness by boosting quality education and skills development. The debate will help shape the committees’ responses to the package and feed into their work on related files, such as a CULT own-initiative report on the European Universities Initiative.
