CONTEXT OF THE DELEGATED ACT This Delegated Decision amends Annex V to Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications1, as amended by Directive 2013/55/EU (Directive 2005/36/EC), which lists evidence of qualifications subject to automatic cross-border recognition. According to Directive 2005/36/EC the following professions may qualify for automatic recognition of their qualification in another Member State, under certain conditions, for the purpose of access to and practise of a regulated profession: architect, doctor of medicine and numerous medical specialities, dental practitioner and several dental specialities, midwife, nurse responsible for general care, pharmacist and veterinary surgeon. One pre-condition for that automatic recognition is that the qualification meets the minimum training requirements set out in Title III, Chapter III of that Directive.
